LIVE MUSIC: Mitch McVicker is going to kick off the event at 10 am. He recently recorded his 12th album, A Shrugging of the Shoulders. His solo career has spanned over 2200 concerts in 49 states and 13 countries. Along with recording 11 full-length albums, he has made 2 EPs, and released 2 live concert DVDs. With the recording of Shrugging’s 14 songs, Mitch set out to capture the same spirit of his live concerts – using his unique and signature construction of percussion tracks by looping junk, household items, and children’s toys. His concert is a little bit Mark Twain meets MacGyver. His quirky and inventive approach includes insightful song lyrics, unconventional instruments, and profound storytelling. Sing 2: Theater owner Buster Moon sets his sights on producing a brand-new musical with his troupe in the glamorous Redshore City. To gain the support of a ruthless music mogul, he pitches that he’ll feature Clay Calloway, a legendary but elusive rock singer as part of the show. Now, all the group needs to do is find the recluse and persuade him to perform with them.
